Fitting tipsPrior to removing the old tie rod, ensure the tractor is safely parked and unclip the lower rubber boot of the Grammer suspension assembly to expose the inner scissor mechanism. De-tension the internal mechanical spring by unwinding the manual operator weight adjustment control completely. Remove the retaining clips and hinge pins from the worn tie rod, then clean the bushing bores of old hardened grease and abrasive dirt. Position the new G114355 link squarely into the linkage bracket without hammering to preserve the precision pin fit. Coat pivot pins with a light film of multi-purpose mechanical grease, secure the retaining clips, and test the suspension travel manually through its full stroke before refitting the dust boot.
