Fitting tipsBefore unmounting the worn track, raise the machine off the ground safely using outriggers, blade/boom leverage, and load-rated safety stands. Loosen the grease valve on the tensioner cylinder to relieve hydraulic grease pressure, allowing the front idler to retract fully for easy demounting. Thoroughly clean the entire undercarriage assembly, removing packed mud and checking the sprockets, bottom rollers, and idlers for uneven wear before installing the new ITR RT2507245 track. Place the new track onto the drive sprocket first, then lever it smoothly over the front tensioner idler. Retighten the grease valve and pump fresh chassis grease until the track sag matches the machine manufacturer's specified tension limits. Rotate the track slowly in forward and reverse without ground contact, and recheck the track sag after the first 5 to 10 working hours.
