Fitting tipsPrior to mounting the concave disc blade, thoroughly clean the contact face of the skim coulter hub, removing scale, soil buildup, and old grease. Place the disc onto the hub flange ensuring the concavity faces the correct soil turning direction and that the 26 mm center hole fits squarely over the hub pilot pin. Insert the four mounting bolts through the 13 mm holes on the 116 mm PCD pattern and torque them evenly in a diagonal sequence to the recommended specification. Spin the disc assembly manually to ensure smooth, unhindered rotation before commencing field operations, and re-torque all hardware after the initial 5 to 10 hours of work.
