Fitting tipsBefore installing the disc onto the square gang axle, thoroughly clean the shaft contact area and adjacent spool spacers to remove rust, soil buildup, and metal burrs. Slide the blade into position, ensuring the 41 mm square bore fits smoothly without binding to avoid localized stress points on the center hole corners. Align the entire disc gang along the axle and torque the gang axle nut to the equipment manufacturer's specified rating. Recheck the tightness of the disc pack assembly after the initial operational hours in the field.
