Fitting tipsBefore fitting the blade onto the square gang axle, clean off all accumulated dirt, rust, and surface burrs from the shaft and mating spool spacers. Slide the notched disc into position ensuring the 39 mm dish concavity and cutting notches face the required direction of travel for that gang section. Check that the 26 mm square bore seats flush without excessive bind to avoid localized stress points. Tighten the gang axle nut to the implement manufacturer's specified torque and inspect the complete disc pack for proper tightness after the initial operational hours in the field.
