Fitting tipsBefore installing the disc onto the square gang axle, clean off all accumulated dirt, rust, and surface burrs from the shaft and mating spool spacers. Slide the notched blade into position ensuring the 72 mm dish concavity and cutting notches face the required operating angle of the gang assembly. Ensure that the 26 mm square bore seats flush onto the shaft without excessive bind to eliminate localized stress points. Torque the axle gang nut to the equipment manufacturer's specified rating and check the complete disc pack for proper tightness after the initial operational hours in the field.
