Fitting tipsPrior to mounting the Faster 86003919 female coupling onto the hose end or valve manifold, thoroughly clean the threaded connection to eliminate dirt, debris, or fluid contamination. Apply a suitable anaerobic thread sealant specifically rated for tapered NPT threads onto the male fitting and tighten the coupling using an open-end wrench on the AC 24 mm hex flat. Do not apply wrench pressure onto the cylindrical body sleeve to prevent internal seal damage. Always fit the protective PVC dust cap (matching code 86001506) when the coupling is disconnected to prevent airborne dirt and debris from entering the hydraulic system.
