Installation Advice & Workshop Notes: Prior to installation, dismantle the interior door pillar trim to reach the rear securing fasteners and carefully unclip the plastic retainer holding the actuator rod connected to the door latch (65412038 on LH or 65412039 on RH). If transferring the existing lock barrel, depress the internal spring retaining clip to slide the cylinder into the new handle body until it snaps into position. Ensure the molded rubber sealing gasket is seated flush against the exterior door sheet metal to keep rainwater, mud spray, and dust out. Fasten mounting nuts evenly without over-torquing the technopolymer housing. Finally, adjust the linkage rod length so that the push button has approximately 1–2 mm of free play before engaging the latch release lever, ensuring light, smooth door operation and positive perimeter weatherseal compression upon closure.
