Installation Advice & Workshop Notes: To install, dismantle the inner pillar door trim panel to reach the handle retention nuts and unhook the plastic clip securing the actuator rod connected to the door latch (65402120 LH or 65402121 RH). If transferring the existing lock barrel, depress the internal spring clip to slide the cylinder into the new handle receptacle. Position the supplied rubber sealing gasket flush against the exterior door sheet metal to keep rain and dust from entering. Fasten the mounting screws evenly without over-torquing the technopolymer body. Finally, adjust the linkage rod length so that the push button has 1–2 mm of free play before contacting the latch release lever, ensuring light, smooth opening and proper door seal compression upon closure.
