Fitting tipsPrior to installing the new Granit 38050018 electric fuel pump, disconnect the vehicle battery and clean the surrounding installation area. Inspect the electrical wiring connector for corrosion or damaged pins. Ensure fuel hoses are clean and free from kinks. Connect the fuel inlet and outlet lines following the flow direction arrows marked on the pump housing. Reconnect the electrical harness and turn the ignition key to the ON position without cranking the engine, allowing the electric pump to fill the lines and automatically bleed air from the low-pressure circuit before engine startup.
