Installation Advice & Workshop Notes: Disassemble the inner door trim panel on the LH door to access the lock cavity, and carefully disconnect the plastic rod clips linking the inside release lever, outer push button, and lock cylinder. Unbolt the old latch mechanism from the door frame. Position the new latch 65402123, reconnect all linkage rods, and confirm they actuate smoothly without binding.
