Fitting tipsPrior to installing the new Granit 38015665 fuel pump assembly, thoroughly clean the mounting area on the engine block or chassis frame to prevent dirt from entering open fuel lines. Always install new sealing washers (copper or NBR) on inlet and outlet banjo fittings. Inspect the filter/sedimentor bowl for proper tightness without over-torqueing. After securing all fluid line fittings and electrical connectors (if applicable), thoroughly bleed air from the low-pressure fuel circuit before cranking the engine.
